I use my Samsung Galaxy S22 in a waterproof case when windsurfing along with the WST to record and track my sessions. In my last session I noticed that the top speed was wrong. It shows that my top speed is 44.98 kn. Although I would have liked to go that fast I am pretty sure that this is a mistake! This is the first time this has happened. It seems to be one peak which is that high and the rest are much lower.
Any ideas why this happened?

in rare cases, it could happen, for example during a crash. or during jumps.
I can look at the details if you are fine with sending me the GPX file of this session.
I’m having the same problem. I presume it happens while my phone looses GPS connection because of being submersed for a minute during waterstarts. When I resurface the GPS isn’t very accurate so the app records a wrong position and thus calculates wrong speed. It often happens that a topspeed is recorded going 100% into the wind.
I would love to have the option to delete certain anomality’s or that the app would figure by itself that certain speeds in certain directions are impossible. These wrong records really mess up my stats.
