If I understand correctly, you are using two phones – one of them solely for recording, without an Internet connection, is that right?
This scenario works very well with V2. You just need to:
Single Connection:
Connect to V2 once with the recording phone when you have Wi-Fi.
Offline Recording:
Once connected, you can open the app without an Internet connection and record your sessions normally.
Synchronization Later:
As soon as you have Wi-Fi again, open the app on the phone used for recording.
Usually, the session synchronizes automatically. If not:
Tap the two arrows (sync icon) at the top of the menu.
You will see the list of recorded sessions.
Tap the two arrows next to each session to synchronize it manually.
Analysis on Another Device:
Then, you can use your second phone or PC to view and analyze your sessions.
Does this help?
Regarding the connection:
V2 requires an account, as this is the only way to allow access from multiple devices. This was one of the most requested features in V1.
Manual session creation will be added back in a future update.
If the update to V2 is causing you difficulties, feel free to ask questions – we are here to help.
V2 is just the beginning and will serve as the foundation for many new features
Thank you for your response, but it didn’t work. Let me explain:
I used the same configuration as with V1: a Samsung 24 FE in a waterproof case that is inserted into my life jacket. With V1, the sessions were recorded correctly, but today there were many problems. There are cuts, missing data, the distance is incorrect, and so is the Vmax… Here is an image, but I can provide something else if you want to help me:
So, the issue with the two phones is resolved. Now, there’s only a problem with the recording, correct?
This issue may be related to missing permissions or battery optimizations. Google requires that apps remain compatible with the latest Android versions, which can sometimes alter app behavior if manufacturers add new optimizations.
Here’s how to proceed:
Check app permissions
In the app launcher, long-press the app icon and select App Info.
Ensure that all permissions are granted and that notifications are enabled.
Background access and optimizations
Verify that the app can run in the background.
Disable all optimizations, especially battery optimizations.
First of all, thank you for your quick and effective responses since the problem was indeed there! I thought I had authorized everything, but your answer allowed me to see that I hadn’t!
Everything is working perfectly now, congratulations on this work and these great developments! The collected data is really comprehensive and informative!
Thank you very much for your excellent feedback – I’m really delighted that everything is now working perfectly
Your message also helps me a lot. I will add a corresponding note directly in the application so that other users can benefit more quickly from this solution.
