Garmin will not Connect

Sessions used to upload automatically from Garmin. It would not today so disconnected then tried to reconnect to Garmin but get the error from Garmin “An error has occurred. We could not give this application the permissions you requested.”

I’ve just tested it on my end and the sync is working as expected. Occasionally there can be a short delay — either on our side or if Garmin is experiencing temporary issues. In those cases, the synchronization may not happen immediately.

No action is usually required. Sessions that weren’t synced successfully are automatically retried after some time. Waiting a bit and checking again later typically resolves it.

If it still doesn’t sync after a while, let us know and we’ll take a closer look.

Unconnected then Reconnected. WST reports Success during the process but Garmin says it is connected to WST, but WST says “Not Connected”

If you saw the success screen on WST, and also Garmin says it is connected, it is most likely a cache issue.
Just close the app (swipe it out of your recent apps), and open it again.
