Filter automatic imports from Coros

Hello. I can’t seem to filter the import of sessions from Coros.

  1. If I don’t set a filter, all my sports sessions (e.g., running) are imported, which I want to avoid.
  2. If I set “wingfoil” as the filter in WST, no sessions are imported, even though the name of my session in Coros contains “wingfoil”.
  3. I suspect WST uses the FIT format for import, and I looked at what Coros exports: I don’t see the session name in the FIT file, and the sport is “generic” (there is no “wingfoil” sport in Coros). I tried setting the filter to “generic” in WST, but the wingfoil session is still not imported.

What file type does WST use for Coros import?

On which field(s) does the filter apply?

Thank you

Hello,

Indeed, Coros does not transmit the session name and does not recognize wingfoil as a sport.

Tip: Record your session in Coros as “Windsurfing”. For WST, the imported sport type is not important in itself — you can directly replace it at the time of import with the sport of your choice (wingfoil, etc.). But for the filter, it’s this sport type that matters.

Once the session is recorded as Windsurfing, set “surf” as the filter in WST: it will let through windsurfing (and any sport containing “surf”) while excluding running, cycling, etc.

My watch (Pace 3) doesn’t have the windsurf sport either. I’ll try with another sport.

Thank you!
