When you want to modify a session and switch to portrait mode or landscape mode, the changes made disappear.

I’m afraid that’s the case. The technical reason is that when you switch from portrait to landscape mode, the view is completely recreated and the data needs to be reloaded.
It is not yet planned to save the data in the meantime.
You can set the portrait mode in the Android quick settings.
