Here are two initial ideas to enhance the web application (which I really love):
I’m joining another help request I saw about finding a way to save a trace. If you don’t know where to look, you might search for a floppy disk icon or something similar.
To delete a trace (the watch just uploaded a walking route), you need to open the trace, edit it, and then find the delete button within it.
So the idea is: (the display page seems quite large) add an “actions” button with actions like “download trace,” “delete,” etc. (other ideas to come, like sharing a quick link).
Last idea: I struggled a bit to find the forum again. Maybe you could add a link below “profile”? Even if it breaks the parallel with the Android app, I think it could be good
I’ll consider that. I also plan to expand the FAQ so it becomes more like a complete manual. I honestly didn’t expect the download feature to be used that frequently, so it’s clear that I should document it better.
You can delete a session directly from the logbook. Just swipe the session to the left.
On a PC this works the same way with the mouse: click and hold the session, then drag it to the left.
You’ll be asked for confirmation to avoid accidental deletions.
If you click the question mark in the top-right corner of the profile page, it opens the FAQ section in this forum. You can also find links to the forum in the settings page if you scroll to the bottom.
Does that work for you?
P.S. If your walking session came from an external watch, you can configure a filter.
For example, if all your windsurf sessions contain the word “windsurf”, you can enter windsurf in the filter field. You could also use something broader like surf or wind.
WST will check whether the session name or the sport type contains that word. If it matches, the session will be imported into WST. If not, it will be ignored.
