Suggestion: Configurable interval to read out the time

I sometimes lose track of time when I am out foiling, a great feature for me would to have the app read out the time for example every 15 or 30 minutes. That way I know I can be home when I promised and increase the foiling wife-acceptancy-factor by a lot :smiley:

sounds like an idea I could add in the future.

I love the speed feedback and use that all the time, so I was thinking something in addition to that. I dont know if its a good idea, but I often find mymself wondering what time it is.

I think it might be a good idea I will add it onto the to-do list.

Recognizable situation. I normally just set an alarm which works well enough for me.

There’s also other apps around that can read the time, see this reddit for example. Or I guess you can ask a voice assistant for the time, but I’m not sure how well that works on the water.

In addition I always share my live location with Whatsapp, so she can at least see if I’m already on my way home :wink:

How about a spoken message after every kilometre (or mile) of distance covered informing on:

  • current time
  • total distance covered so far
  • total time spent so far
  • average speed of the last kilometre (or mile)
  • average speed of the whole session so far
